Accounts & Voucher Level Compilation
The Accountant General ensures financial transparency and accuracy by compiling monthly accounts for the State Government.
General Provident Fund (GPF)
Detailed information about the GPF service including eligibility criteria, contribution rules, interest rates and how to manage the GPF accounts.
Pension
The Pension Group overseen by a Deputy or Senior Deputy Accountant General verifies and approves pension claims for various entities in Kerala.
Gazetted Entitlement (GE)
The GE Function authorizes pay and allowances for Gazetted officers during their career milestones.
Treasury Inspection
The Accountant General maintains financial integrity by preparing various accounts using treasury data for the State Government.
About us
Sections 10 to 12 of the Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India Act, 1971 deals with the responsibilities of Comptroller & Auditor General of India, in relation to Compilation of Accounts of the Union, the States and Union Territories with Legislatures. Under the provisions, the C&AG compiles the Accounts of the States, keeps such accounts in relation to compiling of the Accounts of the States as may be necessary and prepares Finance & Appropriation Accounts every year. The Finance & Appropriation Accounts signed by the C& AG of India are presented to the Governor of the State Legislature.
